December 30, 1999. Welch, Oklahoma. On December 30th, 1999 authorities responded to a fire at the Freeman family home outside of Welch, Oklahoma. The bodies of a married couple named Kathy and Danny Freeman were found in the wreckage, but they didn’t die in the fire. They died from gunshot wounds to the head.
