Description

Everyone has that one amazing friend who’s funny, smart, generous, and creative — in fact, just being around them makes you feel funny, smart, generous, and creative too. But what makes someone’s personality so attractive? Are they just generally cool people, or are they’re particular set of personality traits just irresistible?
A personality trait represents a person's typical ways of thinking, feeling, and acting. Instead of being the result of singular events, personality traits are indicative of permanent behavioral and emotional patterns.
The Big Five Personality Traits

conscientiousness - the degree to which a person prefers to plan ahead rather than be spontaneous
agreeableness - how strongly a person tends to be kind, sympathetic, and helpful to others
neuroticism - the extent to which someone is inclined to worry or be temperamental
openness - the extent to which a person has an appreciation for a variety of experiences
extroversion - the extent to which a person tends to prefer being sociable, outgoing, and talkative

These characteristics work together to establish your personality, including whether you are amiable or temperamental, open to new experiences or afraid of the unknown, introverted or extroverted, and more.
Some personality traits are grouped into four types.

Type A The Director, The Over-Achiever, or The Go-Getter
Type B The Socializer or The Peacemaker
Type C The Thinker, The Analyst, or The Scientist
Type D The Supporter or The Philosopher

There are several different studies that define our personality traits, for example
The “Disc Theory of personality. Groups people into four types (Dominance, Influence, Steadfastness, and Conscientiousness).
According to the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, there are sixteen different types of personality traits.
