The brutal slayings of four young college students in Moscow, Idaho have reignited a debate about the very essence of justice in the state. Accused murderer Bryan Kohberger, 28, faces the possibility of the ultimate punishment if he is found guilty, with prosecutors potentially recommending the death penalty. At the same time, a bill has been introduced by Republican state lawmaker Rep. Bruce Skaug that would legalize firing squad as a form of execution in addition to lethal injection.
