Have ya ever felt like no matter what you try for weight loss, you’re always failing or falling off the wagon?? Well, in this episode, I’m going to reveal that it’s NOT you, it’s these damn diet programs. YOU are not failing and there is nothing wrong with you if you are struggling with all the diets you are trying. We think we are failing because of the BS rules of the program which most are unrealistic to begin with…don’t worry, they have a different program for you that will “work”! All they really want is a repeat customer!! Let’s talk statistics for just a second here. Diets have a 95 % failure rate 97 percent of dieters regain everything they lost and then some within three years. ( and when ya gain it back everyone blames themselves not the bull shit diet of rigid rules and restrictions for being so unrealistic) With each new fucked up quick fix or magic diet that everyone is doing..it messes us up mentally more than we realize. Perfection, competition, comparison, fear, restriction, unsustainable, unrealistic What we’re not dealing with is the UNDERNEATH part of it all. WHY are we struggling? WHY do we constantly feel like we need to be chasing a diet? Getting leaner? Avoiding certain foods to the point where we fear them? Taking the measurements and daily pictures…trying to keep up with the daily workouts only to end up feeling like WE have failed when LIFE HAPPENS!! Ya know, life is going to continue happening and these diets don’t give a rats ass if you have a wedding in the middle of your 75-day program or 21-day “colon” cleanse..you just keep your eyes on the prize and miss out because you want that before and after photo!! Is it willpower? Dedication? Do we not want it bad enough? NOPE!!! We really just have no idea WHY anymore. We continue to chase that number on the scale or that smaller size pants. We try to follow the plan the best we can and shit happens and we “fall off the wagon”. Well, it’s time to tell the diets to fuck off and burn the wagon. Let’s work on coming from a place of self-love and self-care, not hatred or guilt.
