Description

Host Paul Booth reviews SILENT LOVE STORIES. Directed by Amr al-Hariri.

A series of romantic vignettes shot on the iPhone by first time filmmaker Amr al-Hariri and interwoven with classic love songs, SILENT LOVE STORIES takes place against a backdrop of Newport Beach, California and is currently available now for download on iTunes, Amazon Prime and Google Play.

SILENT LOVE STORIES captures a series of flirtatious encounters between handsome young singles hoping to attract another’s attention and turn a sweet moment into something more. The lush soundtrack featuring classic love songs sung by vocalist Deanna Delore reminds us of our own first love. The heartfelt strains of ballads we all know  (“The Very Thought of You” “My Funny Valentine”) accompany the wordless action and take us in and out of the couples’ movements. Their exchanges are almost nothing more than that, but that’s all love needs to ignite.
