As the Head Coach of the Texas Longhorns Football Team, Steve Sarkisian has stressed the importance of executing the deep ball and how it opens up everything else in his offense. However, in his two seasons at the University of Texas, the offense has struggled to hit the deep ball consistently between Quinn Ewers, Casey Thompson, and Hudson Card. Coming into a very important season for Texas in 2023, it is imperative that Texas puts an elite offensive product on that side of the field. For them to accomplish that, they are going to have to hit the deep ball consistently to keep opposing defenses off balance. Rodney Terry has been active on the recruiting trail since being named the Head Coach last week and his latest stop may prove very fruitful for Texas. Reese Dixon - Waters is a transfer player from USC who is heavily considering the 40 acres. Rodney Terry made an in-home visit to Reese last night, who won the PAC 12 sixth man of the year. Could he fill that role for Texas this year? The Texas Baseball team will play five games in five days because of a game postponement last night against Kansas State and Texas State.
