Description

What is a life well-lived? Look no further than that of Ewing Fahey. Double art major, teacher, newspaper editor, television reporter, magazine editor, wife, mother...world renowned sculptor.Ewing did it all and I had the opportunity to sit down with her to talk about all of the amazing adventures and obstacles she had to overcome in her life. Imagine being in New York City as a twenty-something as WWII was coming to an end. She is full of the stories of those that fled from Europe to find a better life here in the United States. She talks about her life as a young woman, then how she changed directions in her 50s to take up the art that she loved, sculpting. She was award winning and worked well into her 90s.Ewing passed away in July and has left such an amazing legacy for our hometown Louisville, KY as well as for her granddaughters.I hope you enjoy this replay with a very fine woman. I hope you draw inspiration from her. I know I did.If you enjoy this episode, make sure to share it or scroll down and give it a rating or review.
