Description

Want to know just how much AD can affect patients? It’s more than you think. This week, we’re joined by Dr. Lacey Kruse as she talks about the psychosocial aspects of Atopic Dermatitis. Listen in as she discusses how AD impacts those around the patient, and how it can be as life-altering as chronic pain. Each Thursday, join Dr. Raja and Dr. Hadar, board certified dermatologists, as they share the latest evidence based research in integrative dermatology. To learn more about the social and psychological burden of AD and earn CME credits, complete Dr. Kruse's course at LearnSkin supported by an independent educational grant from Pfizer. Lacey Kruse, MD is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Dermatology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She has a special interest and dedication to medical education of medical students, residents, and fellows. She also serves as program director for the Pediatric Dermatology Fellowship at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.   Dr. Kruse’s clinical and research interests include pediatric skin cancer, pigmented lesions in children, and pediatric atopic dermatitis. Her research focuses on the impact of pediatric atopic dermatitis on sleep and neurocognitive function.
