Last year, was a very tumultuous year for the Texas Longhorns Football Team that ended in a 5-7 season and no Texas Football players drafted to the National Football League for the first team in a decade. After a 8-5 season this year in the second season of Steve Sarkisian's tenure at the University of Texas, we saw that trend come to an end quickly. Five Texas players were drafted: Bijan Robinson, Roschon Johnson, Keondre Coburn, Demarvion Overshown and Moro Ojomo, while Tarique Milton, Anthony Cook and D'Shawn Jamison have the ability to compete for a roster spot after going undrafted. Next season, the floor for Texas players being drafted should be five.
