Today marks a sad day in baseball as legendary pitcher & friend of the show, Vida Blue has passed away at the age of 73. I have reposted the interview I was able to do with Vida in 2021 & had such a fun time reminscing on his life & career.I grew up seeing Vida Blue around town as I grew up in Tracy, Ca & he was always the most humble & friendly guy. I will miss him asking ME what I thought about the current Giants teams.I figured I owed Vida a tribute today and it was one of the more fun interviews I've been able to do on the Jim on base show. I'm going to miss those random run-ins we would have at the gym, grocery store or at the ballpark.Rest in Peace Vida.
