⌚TIMESTAMPS:
(14:30) - I was wondering, how do you know if you are training too much? I.e. too much volume for the optimal muscle growth. I have heard of people who have gone from 5 days of strength training to 4 days and have made more gains?
(28:08) - What’s up guys, as always appreciate what you did for me and what you do! Tailored coaching is a gift to the fitness and nutrition space! My question was, when did you know it was time to move forward from in person to online? I know you had mentioned being a in person trainer for awhile before transitioning. I work for a gym as a trainer, with that being said the gym makes the larger cut for sessions, and I would like to support my family better and would like to transition into private in person and online full time, to spend more time with them as well. What’s your advice, and insight?
(38:25) - What exactly happens when you have over 30g of protein during a meal? i know in a previous episode you talked about the study that claimed you don't need more than 30g per meal, but you countered with the fact that those needs will be completely dependent on the person. that being, if i am a 135 pound female, eating around 100-110g of protein a day, theoretically would 40g per meal of protein be considered too much? usually i work out in the mornings, have at least 10g of protein before my workout and then 25-40g immediately post workout. throughout the next two meals they range from again 30-40g per meal. is that too much at one time? and can you explain again what is supposedly happening when you have too much protein at once (where does it go)
(43:47) - I’ve been having 0 motivation to go to the gym in my calorie deficit…I keep telling myself it’s pointless to go if I have no energy and barely hit my protein goal. Thoughts on overcoming those little voices ? The all or nothing me mentally. Love your podcast also
