She earned her PhD at the University of Florida and completed a postdoc at Harvard where she studied the neurobiology of sleep and earned a certificate in Sleep Medicine from the Division of Sleep Medicine. Her research interests are focused on the mechanisms and consequences of acute and chronic stress in humans and the impact of normal sleep and sleep deprivation on emotion processing and physiological functioning. In addition, she has ventured into the new field of sports neuroscience. Drs. Tartar and Antonio are the co-founders of the Society for Neurosports. He is the CEO and co-founder of the International Society of Sports Nutrition (ISSN) (www.issn.net) and the co-founder of the Society for Neurosports (www.neurosports.net). His day gig includes a full-time Professor at Nova Southeastern University in Davie Florida (https://healthsciences.nova.edu/facul... ). He has published 15 books and authored/co-authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications in the field of skeletal muscle plasticity, ergogenic aids, and sports supplements/nutrition.Anthony Ricci EdD earned his doctorate at the University of Western States, Portland Oregon. He is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) for the Association of Applied Sport Psychology as well as a Fellow of the ISSN. As a certified mixed martial arts conditioning coach, he has worked with many of the top athletes in the Fight Sports. He is the lead author of the ISSN Position Stand on the Fight Sports.
