When Katie Jane Co's Founder, Molly McKee-Seabrook, went back to work in a government office after maternity leave she was very uncomfortable with her clothing options in a business formal environment where she also needed to be able to pump. Breastfeeding clothes on the market were mostly cotton and casual, which didn't work for her office environment, but her pre-pregnancy professional dresses did not give her the pumping access she needed without having to strip half naked. She began thinking of ways tailored professional dresses could also have easy pumping access and then dedicated herself to perfecting a couple of innovative designs, which is how Katie Jane Co was born!
