Description
"Be merciful to those who doubt; save others by snatching them from the fire; to others show mercy, mixed with fear—hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh." (Jude 1:22-23)Do you find it challenging to deal with people who doubt God and His Word? Or maybe you are a person who has trouble believing God and His Word. The good news for doubters is that God calls Christians to extend mercy to them. That means He has mercy on them. Mercy is when we don't get what we deserve. It's often displayed through acts of patience, compassion, and kindness. But Jude says sometimes our mercy can be severe, taking action to try to rescue people from judgment, standing firm against sin. God hates sin in part because He loves people and sin is harmful to people. So it's merciful to call them out of sin and into joy. He's where the joy is!
