With the disappointment of a first round exit still hanging in the air, we turn our attention to the Boston Bruins offseason plans.
A lot hinges on whether Patrice Begeron and David Krejci decide to come back. If they play on cheap contracts, it makes their binus overages easier to swallow; if they retire, the Bruins are stuck with $4.5M in dead cap space.
Either way they'll be looking for cap relief, with Taylor Hall, Charlie Coyle, Matt Grzelcyk, Derek Forbort, and Linus Ullmark all candidates to be moved.
There's also a bunch of restricted and unrestricted free agents on the roster with very little money to work with. Does Trent Frederic move? Will Jeremy Swayman be anointed as the top goalie? Can they re-sign Tyler Bertuzzi?
