3-Star offensive lineman Moritz “Schmo” Schmoranzer just finished a Miami Hurricanes official visit. Schmo is from Germany, but came to the USA in 2021 to play high school football at North Cross School in Roanoke, VA. He recaps his Miami Hurricanes visit with Alex Donno and what he experienced in speaking with head coach Mario Cristobal, offensive line coach Alex Mirabal and offensive coordinator Shannon Dawson. 
Schmo explains why he enjoyed the city of Miami so much, and told Donno that the Hurricanes have become a major factor in his recruitment. Miami only started recruiting Moritz a week ago, and prior to Miami entering the picture, his finalists were West Virginia, Virginia Tech and Pitt. Schmo will be taking a visit to Pitt this weekend and will have a better idea where he is leaning after that visit. He tells Donno his story of growing up in Germany and why he decided to pursue American football.
