Baseball America just re-rated all the farm systems, and some prospects SHOT up the rankings. SS Ronny Mauricio is now the #1 prospect in the New York Mets system, based largely on the strength of his greatly improved swing decisions. Fellow OF Yanquiel Fernandez went from #13 to #2 for the Colorado Rockies, with Boston Red Sox OF Roman Anthony going up to #4 despite a pedestrian slash line and Miami Marlins OF Victor Mesa is now not only ranked, he's at #6.
RHP Max Rajcic comes up to #10 for the St. Louis Cardinals, but it's a bit of a mirage, while RHP Orion Kerkering of the Philadelphia Phillies is the rare reliever to become a top prospect, coming in at #6.
