As of press time on Sunday night, there was not a signed contract signed by Adin Hill and the Golden Knights. But, earlier in the day there were reports (confirmed by our Chris Gawlik) saying Hill was about to sign a 2-year contract with an average of $4.9 million per year. It would be more than double the salary Hill earned this season. But Hill led VGK to its first Stanley Cup by starting the final 14 games of the playoffs after starter Laurent Brossoit went down. Hill went 27-11 (including playoffs) this season. We wonder what will happen with free agent Brossoit and Robin Lehner, who had three surgeries and has legal issues pending.
