This song is a sugary, warm blanket for me. Somehow reminding of the "Neue Deutsche Welle" (New German Wave), very simple and repetitive songs, which drew you in through this mantra like quality. 
This is how this song works for me. 
On the surface, not much is going on, but subconsciously it ropes you into its mesmerizing aura.  
Very well done! And nothing at all like the Original from Lou Reed, so in this case, I like the Copy much more than the Original.
