One of Christy's favorite jobs of the many jobs she does is going on KCRW’s “Press Play” to talk movies on Friday mornings with the great Madeleine Brand. (Alonso and Matt also have been frequent guests.) This time, she got to turn the tables and ask Madeleine the questions. Eventually they will have a conversation that doesn’t involve mics and headphones! They talk about growing up in Los Angeles, her many years as a reporter and anchor at NPR, how the Trump presidency has changed the way she approaches her show and her activities outside the studio, which include painting.
