Don't assume the slew of signings on July 1 means younger players won't be given a chance to crack the opening night roster for the Boston Bruins.

So, Milan Lucic, James van Riemsdyk, Kevin Shattenkirk, and Patrick Brown will have to work hard to keep their spots becuse they can be easily sent to the AHL.
Morgan Geekie, though, will have a bigger role than he did in Seattle.
