Widely released in 2016 this film was produced entirely independently and then enjoyed a limited release and was scooped up by Netflix. Due to the timing of the film the original cast which included Luke Wilson, Zachary Quinto and Topher Grace was replaced with lesser known actors. The Invitation revolves around Will and Eden - a divorced couple whose relationship ended when their child dies in a tragic accident. After two years of Eden being missing, she sends invites to her old friends for a lavish party. At the party we learn that she, her new boyfriend and their friends have all joined a cult and have a surprise for their old friends.
