Lesley Edwards-Gaither, Ph.D., CCC-SLP, is an Assistant Professor at Metropolitan State University-Denver, Department of Speech, Language, Hearing Sciences. Her areas of research include the intersections of culture, communication, and technology. Lesley teaches undergraduate and graduate courses focusing on assessment, cultural-linguistic diversity, introduction to human communication disorders, and a speech-language pathology assistant pre-certification course. In addition to teaching, she is an independent eLearning consultant developing hybrid and online courses and educating students and SLPs on telepractice technology. She recently co-authored the textbook, Telepractice: A Clinical Guide for Speech-Language Pathologists with Melissa Jakubowitz.
