There is a long list of potential free agents in the NHL for 2024. The salary cap is expected to go up by roughly $4 million and many players took one-year deals this year hoping for a cap increase next summer.
Among the players potentially available are Auston Matthews and William Nylander of the Toronto Maple Leafs, Carolina's Sebastian Aho and Winnipeg Jets goalie Connor Hellebuyck. Veterans like Tom Wilson of Washington and Steven Stamkos of the Tampa Bay Lightning may also hit the market.
