Description

To close out AfrOkon we decided to do a live stream of Episode 47 of the podcast with author and friend of the show LA West. In this episode, we got a ton of comic book stuff to talk about from Wandavision(7:58) to Zach Synder's cut of the Justice League(17:00). In the anime segment, we discuss the shonen series that actually developed their side characters(if they exist)(49:14). Oh, and we saw this interesting debate about anime fire users so we figured we might as well share our thoughts(65:58). Lastly, we talk about some Manga Highlights from My Hero Academia Chapter 306(83:33) and Black Clover Chapter 286(87:20). For everyone that came out, supported, promoted, and/or gave their time to AfrOkon we thank you. It was an amazing event to put together and we're glad we were able to showcase all the amazing talent we have in the Blerd community. Convention shirts for AfrOkon are still available for purchase via our and the blerdbox website. If you haven't got one you should! Go to the blerdbox.shop or thedecentcrew.com and get yours. Show Notes0:00 Intro1:45 Story Time w/ La West7:17 Decent News7:58 Wandavision Review17:00 Justice League Synder Cut Impressions26:51 Falcon and the Winter Soldier35:22 Yasuke38:50 Anime Segment39:10 My Hero Academia Season 549:14 Side-Character Development65:58 The Strongest Anime Fire User 81:42 Manga Segment82:20 Put Some Respeck On It83:33 My Hero Academia 30687:20 Black Clover 28691:41 MVPs & Goofies Hosted on Acast.
