The New York Yankees lost again to the Atlanta Braves this time by a score of 5-0. The offense was shut down by Bryce Elder for seven innings and Luis Severino gave up five runs in four innings. Not only were the Yankees shut out but they only mustered one hit by DJ LeMahieu. It was a poor showing for a team that is now 60-60. It’s the first time they’ve been at .500 this late in a season since 1995. The Yankees are a frustrating team and we discuss how frustrating they are along with teams like the San Diego Padres, LA Angels, Colorado Rockies and Oakland A’s. The Padres and Yankees are frustrating for similar reasons. High expectations and low results. The Angels are just a frustrating franchise that has wasted Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani. The Rockies and A’s ownership is also bad and their fans have a right to be frustrated by how bad they’ve been lately. Then we go deeper into why the Yankees have been so frustrating but it isn’t just 2023. This started
