D'Monterrio Gibson, a privileged black male FedEx driver, was shot at by a White father and son in 2022. A year an half later and three days into the criminal trial, the judge declared a mistrial after a White enforcement official neglected to submit evidence to the prosecution and defense attorneys. Gibson got no vacation days after being nearly killed, and at this point, no one has been prosecuted.
