We reviewed a new paper that has recently come out titled: 'Effect of Ultrasonography-Guided Corticosteroid Injection vs Placebo Added to Exercise Therapy for Achilles Tendinopathy, A Randomized Clinical Trial'.Cortisone has long been avoided for the management of tendinopathy. This paper explains that maybe that idea isn't as well supported as we thought.
