What is Meditation?  Before I decided to learn more about this self-improvement practice, I have to be honest with you, my perception of meditation was someone sitting on a mountain side, on a flat surface, with their legs crossed, hands on top of the knees with one of the fingers, pressing against the thumb on each hand, making a circle, with a straight back, head tilted back slightly, eyes closed, and with a calming hum, purring in a consistent cadence, Huuuuuummmmmmmm, Huuuuuuuuummmmmm. Maybe some of you out there have the same mental image.
It seems that for every high performer I read about or listen to, the majority of them put meditation as a high-priority habit and dedicate daily time to the practice.  This is all new to me and I look forward to understanding this world-wide healthy living tradition or method.  Below are the books I'll be using to better understand meditation.  Enjoy the Episode!
