The LSU Tigers opened the 2023 season with a loss against the Florida State Seminoles at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida. Despite entering half time with a three point lead, the Tigers unraveled in the second half and Florida State quarterback Jordan Travis shined, accounting for 31 unanswered points in the final three quarters of the game.
