The Miami Hurricanes earned their first signature win under Mario Cristobal. The Canes beat the Texas A&M Aggies 48-33 at Hard Rock Stadium. Miami fought back from early mistakes after a costly blocked punt and muffed punt in the first quarter. The Canes passing game caught fire behind Tyler Van Dyke, who threw for 374 yards and 5 touchdowns with zero interceptions. Xavier Restrepo had 126 yards receiving. Jacolby George, who muffed the punt early, responded with 3 receiving touchdowns. 
The Hurricanes defense made big plays. They recovered a fumble forced by Jaden Davis and intercepted Aggies quarterback Conner Weigman twice. Kam Kinchens and Te’Cory Couch had the INT’s.
