Description

Welcome to the Penis Project podcast!

Today, we speak with the other half of The Penis Project Podcast gigglers - Dr. Jo Milios.

Dr. Jo discusses her new research, the subject thereof, which is one that she accidentally stumbled upon when she noticed a gap between pelvic floor exercises and positive continence control.

Dr. Jo's prior research, "The Therapeutic Interventions for Patients with Prostate Cancer Undergoing Radical Prostatectomy; A Focus on Urinary Incontinence, Erectile Function, and Peyronies Disease", was recognised for its good use for patients who have undergone surgery for Prostate Cancer.

However, Dr. Jo noticed a gap.

Interventions to mitigate the effects of radiation therapy, for patients who opted for this kind of treatment, in relation to urinary incontinence and erectile dysfunction were ABSENT.

And this is the focus of her present research and follows the old but still golden nugget adage, prevention is better than cure.

Listen as Dr. Jo discusses a gap that might perhaps be patched up... with your help.

Welcome to The Penis Project Podcast. Connecting men through science, stories, solutions but most of all support. Founded by Melissa Hadley Barrett & Dr Jo Milios (PHD), this podcast is dedicated to stories from men who have bravely recognised the importance of sharing their experiences, breaking down stigmas, and having no-filter chats about sexual health, cancer treatment and recovery, relationships and everything in between.
