This week on Black on Black Cinema, the guys return to review the hip hop musical "Carmen: A Hip Hopera" starring Beyonce Knowles and Mekhi Phifer. This is a VERY 2001 modern take on the Carmen Jones story. The film follows a cop (Phifer) who is seduced away from his girlfriend by an aspiring actress named Carmen (Knowles).
