The LSU Tigers get a much-needed win on the road over the Missouri Tigers on Saturday, taking down the SEC East foe 49-39 in a wild, stressful, and back-and-forth offensive battle. It wasn't a great start for the Tigers falling behind 22-7 early in the game, but because of turnovers, timely defensive stops in the second half, and a heroic and tough performance from starting quarterback Jayden Daniels, LSU was able to find way to win and advance to 4-2 on the season and 3-1 in SEC play.
Jayden Daniels was absolutely unstoppable. He completed 15 of his 21 pass attempts for 259 yards, 3 touchdowns, and zero interceptions along with a massive day on the ground with 15 carries for 130 yards and another touchdown with his legs. He even did part of this with bruised ribs that he suffered from a late hit in the end zone in the second half. Daniels was effective, efficient, took risks downfield that paid off, and showed an elite level of toughness that helped carry his team to victory. He continues to prove why he is more valuable to the LSU Tigers than any other player in America is to their respective team.
