The Milwaukee Bucks have just one preseason game left before embarking on their first season with Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo in tow, so Ti Windisch of the Gyro Step and Adam McGee of the Win in 6 podcast decided to map out how the rotation could and should look around Milwaukee’s new star duo.
After discussing the Dame and Giannis partnership initially, the conversation shifted to Malik Beasley locking down the starting shooting guard spot, how the big rotation will work with Brook Lopez, Bobby Portis, Robin Lopez, Jae Crowder, and of course Giannis in tow, what Khris Middleton should be able to do and how other wing players like Pat Connaughton and Crowder can fill in the gaps for him, their comfort level with Cam Payne as the backup point guard, and then a run through of all the young players who will fight for any leftover minutes – MarJon Beauchamp, who has been uneven in preseason, Andre Jackson Jr., who has thrilled Bucks fans, A.J. Green, and Chris Livingston. Finally, the two-way point guards, mostly Lindell Wigginton and TyTy Washington Jr., were covered too.
