Stress and histamine are often linked, so remember to focus on this area as well as diet, supplements and so on. As I write my book on histamine intolerance a few thoughts. Stress can have a significant impact on how you feel both mentally and physically, as research has found that histamine issues have all sorts of mental and brain impacts. For example; “dysfunction of the histamine system may underlie some forms of apathy”, and “a potentially critical player in the pathology of depression, histamine”.
