Mississippi State insider Steve Robertson joins the show on the Farm Bureau guest line talking about the latest news in the Mississippi State coaching search. Bo asks Steve if MSU needs an offensive or defensive mind when hiring a head coach and Steve says the success has come from offensive minds. Steve thinks that Gus Malzahn would be the ceiling hire for MSU but the Bulldogs don't want a bidding war with Arkansas or Texas A&M. Steve doesn't see a favorite to be hired so far but he says the interim head coach needs to have the ability to emotionally rally the team. Steve thinks that the fans will still support the team when playing USM and Ole Miss and how it might actually help their chances.
