On today's episode of Locked on Wild, we get out a mop to clean up current areas of concern for the Wild ahead of the International Games in Sweden! We start with the play of Kirill Kaprizov. After Kaprizov had an MRI on Monday to rule out any sort of major injury plaguing him so far this season, we also discuss his underlying stats not being far off from his career norms, which suggests he is just a bit off so far this season. While the eye test hasn't been great, the Wild will see if Marco Rossi can help get him going by being his center at least for the next few games. We also discuss Matt Boldy's cold shooting, and why he can't pass up opportunities like he had against Dallas on Sunday. We also discuss the Special teams units and why the Wild must communicate especially on the Penalty Kill to prevent teams having such easy chances. We finish by discussing the goaltending, and look at a few statistics to get to the root of the problems from last year to this year!
