The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly summit on Neutralizing Workplace Racism 11/17/23. Last week, our beloved "Bay Area Scholar" informed us that he's taken temporary employment as a barista as plots the beginning of his career path. Unfortunately, his work environment is understaffed, rife with gossip, and lacking quality training. Low and behold, Starbucks employees across the land went on strike to protest similar unhealthy work conditions. Several locations were forced to close because of the labor disruptions.
