Today I answer a letter from my editor Caitilin regarding my soon to released book about how to be happy. ..Here is the letter...Hi Lauren,
 
I hope you are well and had a good weekend. Today's homework questions are about the subtleties of self awareness, self understanding and self acceptance.
 
Do you see these as being the same or are they different? How would you define each one? How do they relate to one another (e.g. does one need to be present before another can develop?) Is there a hierarchy here, where each one builds on the one that comes before it? If so, what are the connections between each?
Episode 51 What is the difference between Self awareness, self understanding & self acceptance? And how can this help make us happy?
The reason I am asking is that each of these terms is used in your book and I want to be sure I understand the way in which you are using them and the way they relate to one another.
