The Dallas Stars need to fix their defense and they need to do it quickly. On today's episode of Locked On Stars, Joey wants the Stars to show some urgency in fixing the backend. With Nils Lundkvist being healthy scratched the last two games, will he prove he's good enough to play come playoff time? Miro Heiskanen is great, but has stumbled recently along with his partner Ryan Suter who had a strong start. At least Thomas Harley has stepped up into being a very valuable asset on defense as well as offense leading Stars D men with five goals this season. Joey believes Dallas needs to get help before the deadline in order to get the club where they need to be. Next up, the Stars play game two of three game road trip so Joey previews tonight's matchup with the Florida Panthers and highlights the amazing season Sam Reinhart is having along with Alexander Barkov. They will need to be stopped if the Stars are to have any success. The show ends with Joey's shooting star pick which is Matt Duchene, Duchene has not scored in eight straight games, but has been very involved and getting looks.
