We are all guilty of not doing anything towards are goal or made an attempt but not nearly long enough to get the results you are looking for. We spectate others on how far they have come with the assumption that results are instantaneous. The reality is that it is long, monotonous, consistent, and pretty boring. The idea is consistency and starting somewhere. There are going to be plenty of pit falls but learning from them is the key to get to where you want to go. Failure is the tuition for success.
