Description
“…It blew my mind so much when I learned this I got vertigo and had to lay down because it fundamentally changed my world…”
In this second part of my conversation with archaeologist David Ian Howe, we take a much more personal tack. David talks about struggles with ADHD and learning he has aphantasia, and how both have shaped his world. I also talk a bit more about how Lucky came into my life, and how having to wing my PhD defense taught me so much about who I am, and how I engage with the world. Both David and I share our thoughts on the importance of embracing your superpowers, David also gives his two cents on the future of dogs, and advocates for the importance of teaching archaeology as a skill for developing empathy and curiosity.
This episode is supported by Aspirationery, which in full transparency, is another project of mine. At Aspirationery, we make books, notebooks, and stationery to help you become all you aspire to be!
