Weather in 5 Hurricane Teddy strengthens as it interacts with a strong upper trough to the west of the storm. Winds are now 105 mph and gale force gusts have arrived to the south coast of Nova Scotia. Stormy conditions will develop later today into Wednesday. The storm is also producing rip currents, rough surf and higher than normal tides up and down the East Coast. Tropical Storm Beta is along the central Texas coast and weakening with some areas inland getting heavy rains. In much of the Northeast & Middle Atlantic states it is another nice day as Autumn arrives and no rain is forecast until late Sunday into Monday. when the first of two cold fronts moves through. The second one late next Tuesday brings in a shot of very chilly air into the Eastern half of the US.
