Weather in 5 showing Teddy now a post tropical cyclone near Nova Scotia and on to Newfoundland. South of the storm the weather is terrific today for much of the Northeast and Mid Atlantic states as temperatures warm up. The remnant rains of Tropical Storm Beta should be moving out of Texas today but they continue across the Central Gulf States and headed eastward to the Southeast US. In the Pacific Northwest very heavy rains are coming inland into Western Washington and Northwest Oregon for the next week which should help with the wildfire situation there but no rain in the forecast for California.
