Weather in 5 Hurricane Delta is a major hurricane this morning but it should weaken some before landfall in Southwest Louisiana later today. Winds 120 mph hopefully down a bit before landfall. In the Northeast and Northern Mid Atlantic states we have a nice day ahead with sunshine. The Columbus Day holiday weekend breaks down with Saturday being the best of the three day weekend and Sunday the worst with Monday somewhere in between. Severe weather risk Saturday in Upstate NY and Northern New England.
