Weather in 5 for the Northeast and Northern Mid Atlantic states this is the 8th day in a row of no rain or snow. That streak could carry through the weekend and into next week. The only chance for a rain or snow shower will be Friday night into Saturday as a cold front comes through. Otherwise it will be dry with near to slightly above average temperatures. Snow in the Central Gulf States will weaken as a storm in the Gulf of Mexico moves eastward.
