That rain changes to snow in New England tonight with wet snow accumulations of 6 inches ore more likely especially in elevations above 1500 feet. Rain ends in Southern New England to Northern New Jersey and Long Island. Severe weather tonight in parts of East Texas and the Gulf Coast. Snow is likely in the Central Rockies with up to a foot in the higher peaks.
