Description

Today we welcome Jack Iredale onto the podcast. Jack was born in Scotland and emigrated to New Zealand as a baby. In New Zealand he took up rugby and judo before moving to Australia with his family. His mother, an olympian taught Jack the ways of Judo guiding him to win the Australian Junior Judo Championship in his words 'a couple times I think'. All the while this was going on Jack was playing on other sport and in truth it was the only thing for him, soccer! He has battled type one diabetes, 3 major ACL injuries and only managing to fully hit the ground running at 20 he has found himself working up from Greenock Morton (the town in which he was born) all the way to Bolton Wanderers a club with a history of legends such as Jay-Jay Okocha and Fernando Hierro, notable premier league pedigree and more. At the time of recording Bolton have just guaranteed their place in the play offs so in the next month Jack may find himself playing in what is commonly regarded as the most intense league on the planet, the English Championship.
