Description
EPISODE 186 - Clark and Hyung open the show talking about the Babe Ruth bat that Topps teased in a post on the X platform, which may find its way onto future relic cards.
Then moving on to Hobby Headlines, the guys talk about professional athletes who have gotten involved in the hobby (ie. Corbin Carroll, Evan Longoria, Mike Trout, Bobby Witt Jr.) and what the impact of that has been in growing the sports card industry. They also brainstorm what else they could do to further promote the hobby.
Afterwards, they play a round of "Over/Under" where Clark picks a specific card with a specific grade and calls out a dollar amount. Then Hyung guesses whether the last sold price of the aforementioned card is over or under the specified dollar amount. Cards in this round include the Michael Jordan 1986 Fleer rookie card (PSA 10) and the LeBron James 2003 Topps Chrome Refractor.
Lastly, the guys play "Pick 1" with Hyung putting up Jackson Chourio and Jackson Holliday rookie cards against each other; Clark puts up the Vladimir Guerrero Jr. 1st Bowman base auto (which he just sold) vs. the Guerrero Jr. Topps Chrome blue refractor /150 going for around the same price (BGS 9.5).
